Ji Training

Warrior Training

skills: concentration, physical strength, resilience, natural range of motion, flexibility, and mental awareness

Level 1:

Targeted at beginners, Level 1 introduces the foundational elements of yoga through the practice of Warrior Training, focusing on concentration, physical strength, resilience, natural range of motion, flexibility, and, foremost mental awareness. This level emphasizes the importance of stillness, natural breathing, and precise alignment in each pose, preparing practitioners for the challenges of Levels 2 and 3.

admission criteria: open to all practitioners.

Ji Training

Intermediate

skills: basics of arm balances, inversions, hip openers, deeper backbends, and simple transitions

Level 2:

Targeted at intermediate practitioners who already maintain a solid, regular practice, Level 2 aims to lay the groundwork for more advanced yoga disciplines. This level focuses on building a strong foundation for an intermediate practice, integrating daily strength and flexibility exercises with the basics of arm balances, inversions, hip openers, and deeper backbends. Beginners with consistent practice are welcome, as the training is designed to elevate their skills comprehensively.

open to practitioners with a solid, regular practice.

Ji Training

Intermediate to Advanced

skills: deepen and expand all core skills: arm balances, inversions, hip openers, backbends, 

and connect with advanced transitions

Level 3:

Level 3 is designed for those who have mastered the foundational elements taught in Level 2 and are ready to challenge themselves further. Participants need to apply to ensure they possess the necessary skills, as this level intensifies the focus on all core skills. The training explores advanced transitions that require the simultaneous application of multiple skills, integrating advanced postures in dynamic sequences. This level demands a well-established base in all core areas to ensure everyone can keep up, benefit from, and enjoy the advanced training.

  • Health & Life Science 101 (doctor-led): inflammation & nervous system basics; digestion/hydration; sleep/recovery; breath/environment; nutrition basics

  • Applied Yoga Therapy 101: quick-fix mini sequences for common health issues + red flags (lower back, SI joint, shoulder, knee, tendinopathy/tendinitis, headache, etc.)

  • Manual/Book: all Level 2/Level 3 postures in fixed maps + authorized variations; photos/illustrations + the most important cues per posture; level up/level down pathways per block

In Person Teacher Training:
  • 1 week Ji Training to study and excel in your own body before you teach
  • 2-week Ji TT Practical to take all asana sequence blocks apart, build confidence in corrections, teach and get direct personalized feedback, to finally pass your exam classes.

Ji Training Level 2 and 3: are you ready?

1. not a reatreat

welcome to Ji Training, a transformative yoga experience i've crafted for those seeking a profound practice, not just a vacation. originating from the request of my advanced students for a dedicated practice week, Ji Training is a holistic approach to the essence of yoga — creating awareness, applying it to the body, and transforming the practice (eventually more than that).

2. redefine practice

at its core, this training originated from the foundational skills of the Ji-Class (also known as the Challenge Class) that i developed over seven years in Berlin.
this innovative format emerged from my evolution alongside my students, moving beyond rigid systems and fixed sequences to embrace a dynamic, responsive style of teaching that adapts to each participant's needs.

3. create awarenes

Ji Training is structured into 2-3 daily sessions, each crafted to challenge and nurture.
our day starts with a dynamic warm-up session designed to awaken and prepare the body. this is followed by a focused workshop that explores a comprehensive range of techniques — arm balances, inversions, balancing, coordination, twists, backbends, and hip openings.
we round out the day with a session of either the dynamic Ji-Class or the focused precision of Warrior Training, ensuring that every practice concludes with a reflective cool-down phase.
